Do you have bad behaving elves at your house? It seems we have good working elves here at St John’s. They have been busy helping getting things ready for the Christingle Service at 6pm on Christmas Eve.

As a Church we are well aware of those in our local community who are not as fortunate as ourselves.
We try to donate to local charities and this year the PCC of St John the Baptist have again decided to donate to the work of The Salvation Army, Roundthorn, to help people and others in need in this area.

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!

God is always working in our lives, creating new opportunities, healing, and growth. It’s time to let go of the past and embrace the fresh path He’s making for us. Even when we don’t see it yet, trust that He’s already at work, bringing something beautiful into your life.

Let’s step forward in faith and anticipation of the new things God has in store for us!
