Music and Choir

Music is a very important aspect of much of our worship, although there are services where quiet contemplation is more appropriate.

Choir

At St John the Baptist Hey we have a very enthusiastic Choir, who both lead the congregational singing during communion services, and sing special items for different festivals throughout the church year.

We are always ready to welcome any new members, a love of singing is the only requirement. We practise fortnightly on Wednesday evenings.
