Hey with Zion School

Our nearest LEA Primary school is Hey with Zion. The school was built in the 1970’s after the closure of St John’s Hey Primary school on Stamford Road and Zion Methodist primary school hence it’s new name “Hey with Zion”. Although it is a “Voluntary Controlled school” both ourselves and the Methodists have two Foundation Governors on the Governing body. The ethos of the school is firmly based on Christian values and clergy are in school at least once a week taking assemblies. The whole school comes to church a couple of times each year.
