Harvest will be celebrated at St John’s on the 24th October!
Canned and dry food donations are welcome as always.

We have had some generous volunteers who are able to
facilitate Sunday school. It will begin on Sunday 24th October.

Today we said farewell to our warden Denise who is moving out of the parish this week. Denise disclosed that she has been a member of this church for 41 years, and during this time as well as being a warden she has been involved in Sunday school, brownies and guides, leading worship as an ALM, a PCC member, deanery synod rep, and many other tasks including gardening (with the help of her husband David).

Denise was presented with flowers, a card and a cheque which we are sure she will make good use of in her new home.

We are all very grateful for Denise’s long and faithful ministry and wish her and her husband every happiness in their new life away from us here, our love and prayers go with you.

Denise – you will be sorely missed.
