Charity Giving

As a Church we are well aware of those in our local community who are not as fortunate as ourselves.
We try to donate to local charities and this year the PCC of St John the Baptist have again decided to donate to the work of The Salvation Army, Roundthorn, to help people and others in need in this area.

This Weeks Reflection

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!

God is always working in our lives, creating new opportunities, healing, and growth. It’s time to let go of the past and embrace the fresh path He’s making for us. Even when we don’t see it yet, trust that He’s already at work, bringing something beautiful into your life.

Let’s step forward in faith and anticipation of the new things God has in store for us!

This Weeks Reflection

“If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity, and their years in contentment.” – Job 36:11

This beautiful verse reminds us of God’s unchanging faithfulness. In a world filled with uncertainty and challenges, we are called to trust in Him, to obey His word, and to serve Him wholeheartedly. The reward? A life enriched with true prosperity and a deep sense of contentment that only He can provide.
