This Weeks Reflection
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
Life can often feel like a journey through uncertain terrain, filled with twists, turns, and unexpected challenges. But just like a lamp illuminates the path ahead on a dark night, God’s Word is our unfailing guide. It lights up the way, offering clarity, comfort, and direction when we need it most.
No matter how dark things may seem, remember that His Word is always there to lead us forward—step by step, moment by moment. Let His truth be the light that dispels fear and fills your heart with hope.
May we lean on His guidance today and trust that He will always show us the way.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! – Psalm 150:6
In every moment of life, no matter the circumstance, we are called to praise. Whether in joy or in struggle, God’s presence surrounds us, and His goodness is worthy of our praise. This verse from Psalm 150 is a powerful reminder that all of creation is meant to worship Him—from the birds in the sky to the trees in the field, to you and me.
Every breath we take is a gift from God, and every heartbeat is an opportunity to honor Him. Today, let’s take a moment to reflect on His faithfulness and goodness, and respond with hearts full of gratitude. Praise isn’t just a song; it’s a way of living that acknowledges God’s greatness in all things.
Let everything that has breath—praise the Lord!

Our beautiful Church
Charity Giving
As a Church we are well aware of those in our local community who are not as fortunate as ourselves.
We try to donate to local charities and this year the PCC of St John the Baptist have again decided to donate to the work of The Salvation Army, Roundthorn, to help people and others in need in this area.

This Weeks Reflection
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!
God is always working in our lives, creating new opportunities, healing, and growth. It’s time to let go of the past and embrace the fresh path He’s making for us. Even when we don’t see it yet, trust that He’s already at work, bringing something beautiful into your life.
Let’s step forward in faith and anticipation of the new things God has in store for us!
